WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION.
The following are the results of games played on Saturday in the Wairarapa Basketball Association’s competition:— A grade: High School Old Girls I beat Stars 11, 27/5; lona beat High School Old Girls 11, 21/7. j» B grade: Dalefield beat Jjfcna, 17/9; Greytown beat Stars, 6/5; Technical Old Girls beat Hospital, 10/4; High School I beat High School 11, 26/9; St. Andrew’s beat High School Old Girls, 11/6. ' The annual Wairarapa tournament will be played on the High School grounds next Saturday. Entries have already been received as follow: —High School Old Girls (3), Stars (3), lona (2), Greytown (2), High School (2) and Dalefield.
A challenge has been received from the Napier representative team to play Wairarapa at Masterton. The match will probably be played on 12tli September.
