MUTTON PRICE ADVANCED. WELLINGTON, This Day. The butchers have been advised by the wholesale suppliers that the price of mutton will be advanced Id per pound as from Alonday. It is understood that there is a short supply of stock coming forward, and that phenomenally high prices are being paid for sheep in the country districts, the high prices ruling for wool being one of the reasons for this;—(P.A.)
