MASTERTON CLUB.
TROPHY SHOOT.
Members of the Masterton Miniature Rifle Club fired their tenth trophy competition last evening, there being a fair attendance of members. Mr V. E. Donald was in great form, registering the ten-shot possible, the first on the metric target in club competitions. He won the special prize donated by Mr R. Wellington. Mr Donald very generously donated the prize back to the club for competition.
The weekly competition for ladies was won, by Miss R. Brown, with Miss N. Eddy second and Mrs Henderson third.
In the men’s competition Mr Donald was easily first, with Mr F. Gray second and Mr F. Dick third.
The monthly aggregate for won by Mrs Benders n and in the men’s section by Mr F. Gray. The following are the principal results: —V. E. Donald 100, F. Gray 99, H. K. Smith 98, D. P. Donald, G. H. The usual seven-shot button practice will take place next Tuesday evening.
