MARTINBOROUGH SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their initial sale at Martinborough as follows:—A medium entry of sheep and cattle was submitted to a fair attendance of buyers. Competition on - the whole Avas on a par with recent sales, a clearance being effected at the following prices:—Good woolly wether'lambs, 19s Gd; medium do., 18s; b.f. lambs, 18s; fat lambs, 21s; cull lambs, 9s to 14s; ewo lambs, 255; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 235; light fat wethers, 25s 3d to 25s 6d; fat ewes, 18s to 18s 9d; f.m. ewes, r.w. S.D., 20s to 235; fat cows and heifers, £6 5s to £5 15s; fat and forward heifers, £5 9s.
