VESSEL AGROUND
FAST BECOMING A WRECK. (Received Friday, 10.40 a.m.) PERTH, This Day. The Stanford, a motor vessel of 4800 tons, from London, which went aground on African Reef, a few miles north of the entrance to Geraldton Harbour, is fast becoming a total wreck.
The passengers and crew were transferred to the Koolinda which stood by the stranded vessel throughout yesterday.
