ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE
MEETING IN MASTERTON. The Manchester Unity OddfelloAVs’ Lodge held its fortnightly meeting last night. Bro. W. Palmer presided over a good attendance of members. I Three members Avero installed into tho order. Reports of the Friendly Societies’ card tourney were presented by Bro. L. Waters. The usual lodge card tourney Avas reported on by the secretary, avlio stated that there Avas always a good attendance of players at the tourneys. The Lodge decided to challenge the W.F.C.A. to a ping-pong match to be played on Monday, 12th August. It Avas stated that the Wairarapa Past Grands’ Lodge of OddfelloAA's Avill hold their meeting on Thursday next at Carterton. The Lodge Avas arranging a \-isit, if possible, to the Sister Wallis Lodge on 27th August, and district officers would A’isit the LeA T in Lodge on 17th August. A representative committee of members met to further the proposal of a dance to be held in the Municipal Hall on 7tli August. After the conclusion of business, the Lodge members played cards and pingpong, supner being supplied by the ladv members.
