accident not reported. CALLOUS CONDUCT. HAMILTON, Monday. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, John Henry Mahood was fined £5 on each of two charges of failing to report an accident and failing to stop. The defendant pleaded guilty. According to the police, the defendant was driving a truck between Cambridge and Hamilton when he knocked down Ernest Tapp, who was walking on the road. Tapp was severely injured, and the defendnnt drove on.
