There was fine weather and a large attendance at the second day’s races of the Whangarei Club’s meeting. The totalisator handled £9157/10/-, as against £8951 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £15,763/10/-, compared with £16,135 for the last meeting, a decrease of £371 10/-. Results: —

TARANAKI MEETING. NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday.. The Taranaki Joelccy Club’s special meeting was held to-day in clear but windy weather. The totalisator handled £6665 10s.
