INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM
STRONGER THAN LAST. DELHI, Friday. The Indian hockey team to tour New Zealand and’ Australia leaves to-mor-row without the Nawab of Manayadar, its captain, who is, one of the few ruling princes playing first-class hockey. The team is not India’s best, but it is stronger than the Indian Army team which visited the Dominion in 1926. Dhyan Cliand, the clever centre-for-ward, is now captain of the side.
