EKETAHUNA SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having had a fair yarding of sheep at the Eketahuna sale yesterday. There was the usual attendance of buyers and late rates were well maintained. They report the following sales:—l 3-year hack, £l2/15/-; ewe lambs, 13/4; small wether lambs, 8/-; m.a. ewes, 8/9, 12/3, 13/2; S.D. rams, lgn. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on tho Eketahuna sale as follows: —A good entry .of sheep was submitted to a large attendance of buyers. Competition for the better class of sheep was keen with prices on a par with recent sales but for older sorts of ewes the market jvas dull. The following is the range of prices:—A/c Hull Bros., 117 4 and 6tooth ewes at 24/10; 60 2-th do., 27/1; 71 do., 27/-; 176 4 and 5-year do., 17/11 to 19/-; 138 ewe lambs," at 16/1; a/c C. E. Goss, 36 ewe lambs, at 18/3; 57 do., 14/2; a/c 0. J. Welch, fat b.f. lambs, at 17/-; fat wethers, 22/3; woolly wether lambs, 16/.-; a/c E. R. Daldy, ewe lambs, at 15/7; s.m. ewes, 15/1; a/c R. Breech, small 2-th ewes, 19/8; a/c T. Smith, 4-year ewes, 16/10; cull lambs, made from 8/- to 11/-.
