AUSTRIAN CONSCRIPTION
TO BE INTRODUCED. (Received Friday, 9.10 a.m.) VIENNA, Thursday. Prince Stailiemberg, the Vice-Chan-cellor, in a speech to deputy leaders, officially recognised the “Sport and Drill Front” and unequivocally hinted that conscription was impending. He declared: “It is your dutv to . make your country’s youth capable of bearing arms.” ~ The. order for conscription, which will be introduced within a measurable time, may be a mere formality.
