The jockey E. G. Frost was disqualified for life by the A..T.C. stewards as the outcome of the resumed inquiry into certain happenings prior to and concerning a hurdle race run at Randwick on 26th January.

A cable dated 31st January stated that the stewards of the Australian Jockey Club concluded an inquiry into the conduct of certain x jockeys in the hurdle race at Randwick on 26th January. They disqualified jockey Frederick Guy for life and suspended two jockeys, G. Sholl and A. T. Pearce, during the stewards’ pleasure.
