GORE RACES. GORE, Thursday. The Goro Racing Club’s Summer meeting concluded in brilliantly fine weather. The track was hard and fast. The totalisator handled £6725 10s, against £6579 on the same day last year, making a total of £14,498 for the meeting, compared with £13,695 last year. An inquiry was held into alleged interference to Johnny in the Ilighweight by Braiv Lad, whoso rider, B. Shand, was found guilty of careless riding and was suspended for four weeks. Results:—

Autumn Hack Handicap, lm. —5/5, Pompax (Wilson), 1; 1/1, Galleon, 2; 2/2, Impala, 3. Also started: 3/3 Honest Maid, 4/4 Broken Rule. Half a length, thrqo lengths. Time, lmin 41 4-ssecs. Honest Maid was fourth.
