MOTOR ACCIDENT
DAMAGES AWARDED. GISBORNE, Wednesday. A sequel to a motor accident in October last in which a cyclist named Albert Victor Singe was knocked down by a light lorry driven by Edward Martin was heard in the Supreme Court at Gisborne to-day before Mr Justice Smith, when the plaintiff claimed £BB7 10s damages. Negligence on the part of the driver was admitted and the only question was the matter of damages. After medical evidence was heard the Jury awarded plaintiff • £SOO general and £7O special damages and costs. —(P.A.)
