DRY CONDITIONS ENDED
TARANAKI RAINFALL. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Dry conditions in Taranaki definitely ended with a 24 hours warm rain, totalling well over an inch. Most of the district’s pastures have been well soaked and a good autumn growth now seems assured. The rain on Mt. Egmont was very heavy. The rivers are flooded. —(P.A.)
