DURING HOT WEATHER. • (Received Wednesday, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. * The New South Wales Education Department is not likely to follow New Zealand’s example and suspend afternoon school during the trying mouth of February, according to the Director of Education, .Mr G. Ross Thomas, who states that, apart from the fact that there is no evidence that the hot weather is adversely affecting children’s health, the closing of schools in the afternoon would cause too much disorganisation.
