The Wharcama Amateur Theatrical Society will repeat its recent performance in the Homewood Hall to-morrow / night. The play is entitled “Have Aou Anvthing to Declare-?” It will be folJ Wed by a dance. The proceeds will go towards the support of Miss Morrison, who will be present at the function. Te Wharau settlers are invited to participate in this entertaining function.

, MASKED BALL

TO-MORROW EVENING

Very keen interest has been aroused in the masked ball to be held in the Town Hall to-morrow evening, mere will no doubt be a large attendance, with most parts of the district well represented, and probably visitors from farther afield. Masks will be supplied free and worn until after the singing ot the “Masquerade” song, when dancers will unmask. There will boa, large programme of modern and old-time dances to music, supplied by an excellent orchestra of sixteen players. A smaller group of musicians has been engaged to play for the extras. Two pipers are to lead the grand march, and other features of this great carnival event in aid of the Y.M.C.A. Queen will be a ballet, solo dances, specialty spotlight, Monte Carlo, etc.. Dancing -will commence sharp at 8 o clock, and Continue to the early hours of the ■Fnoming. A ladies’ committee has done iT wonders in regard to the supper arrangements, and a delightful time is assured patrons.
