Stedman (New Zealand) defeated Freshwater, 5/7, 6/4, 6/0. In the Anglo-Japanese match at Eastbourne, Perrv defeated Fujikura, 6/1, 2/6, 6/4, 10/8. Austin defeated Yamagishi, 6/1, 6/1, 6/2. CHAMPION TENNIS NATION. LONDON, Friday. W. T. Tilden, the famous tennis player, has arrived from America on holiday. At the Manchester tenrtis tournament, in the semi-final of the men’s singles, Malfroy defeated Aldred, 6/2, 6/4. At the Frinton tournament semifinal of the men’s singles, Stedman defeated Aeschliman, 6/1, 6/2.
