RESULTS OF GAMES.

The results of the past week’s games were as follows: —Stewart beat Evans, 19/16; Fenton beat Pedersen, 18/17; Pedersen beat Scrivener, 20/18; Wilkinson beat Drummond, 21/17; J. Davis beat Dixon, 22/19; Vincent beat Watson, 23/21; Gibson beat Dixon, 21/17, Park Ferns game. All the games were closely contested, particularly the Park Ferns game between L. Eoff and F. Dixon (s), holders, and C. Eoff and W. Gibson (s'), challengers. This match lyoved the most exciting of this competition so far. The large crowd of enthusiastic spectators were on their toes throughout. The scores were 15 all at the 17th head. Gibson gave Dixon 2 points at the 18th by removing the jack, but scored two and one for the 19th and 20th heads respectively, being then one in the lead. However, unfortunately for Dixon, he touched the jack lightly with his last shot, and as it was lying close to the edge it was easily removed, with the result that he gave Gibson three points and lost the game by four points, having put up a hard fight to retain the Ferns.

Davis, No. 2. 7 p.m., Wednesday: Larsen and Watson v .Smith and Fenton, Nc. 2; Howes and Perfect v. Thompson and Drummond, No. 1. 8 p.m.: C. Eoff and Dixon v. Volheim and Simpson, No. 1; Osborne and Stewart v. Pickering and Shearer, No. 2. 9 p.m.: Barnes and Evans v .Brown and Pedersen, No. 1: Wenliam and Williams v. F. Eoff and Gibson, No. 2.
