GAWITH SHIELD. WON BY MASTERTON. Master ton regained the Gawitli Shield on Saturday when they scored a comfortable win over Carterton in the final of the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association's A grade competition. Masterton Avon by a margin of 15 matches, 12 sets and 213 games, to 9 matches, 9 sets and 191 games. The following are the detailed results, Masterton players mentioned first in CA r ery case:—
