The Channel Swimming Association has informed Aliss Sunnie LoAvry that it avill not grant official recognition of her swim, because she omitted to supply a chart of her course. The Alasterton Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club Avill hold their championship carnival in the Dixon Street Baths to-morrow (Wednesday) night, the first event taking place at 7.45 o’clock. The folloAving events avill be decided:—loo vnrds Alasterton Club championship;' 100 yards Alasterton Club breaststroke championship: 50 yauls senior handicap; 50 yards intermediate handicap, 25 yards ladies’ handicap, 25 vards junior girls’ handicap, 2o yards junior boys handicap, 100 yards relay teams race, open dive, junior dive.
