UNUSUAL POSITION
CHRISTCHURCH TRAM APPEALS. COMPLICATIONS LIKELY. • CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. As a result of the Tramway Appeal Board’s verdict, a complicated position is now likely to arise through crossappeals from old unionists, who may be disrated again to give seniority to the volunteer workers, whose appeals have been upheld. The effect of the board’s decision is to place these men back in senior positions, and to disrate the men who returned to the service after the strike. (P-A.)
