SUCCESSFUL TESTS

PETROL DISTILLED FROM COAL. RUGBY, Thursday. Only small quantities of petrol extracted from coal were used by the Royal Air Force for tests and experiments prior to last year, when one Home defence squadron flew solely on such fuel.
