P. P. Laidlaiv, G. 11. Andreivs and W. Smith) that human influenza can be transmitted by ferrets, thus bringing the disease Avithin the range of experiment. After recovery ferrets vvere found to be immune from further infections during a period, the length of Avhich has not yet been determined. A virus Avas also discoA T ercd Avhicli acts apparently as a primary infective agent in human influenza.
