KURIPUNI LADIES’ GUILD. The monthly meeting of the Kuripuni Ladies’ Guild was held yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members, one new member being elected. The Rev. V. R. Jamieson conducted the opening devotions. The chief business of the afternoon was to finalise the arrangements for the Cherry Blossom Fair on 19th October. It was reported that a cushion had been donated as a points prize for the cooking competition. The secretary informed the meeting that Mrs Stockwell had kindly consented to officiate at the opening of ,the Fair. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames N. Jones and A. Miller. 1 -The meeting closed with the Benediction.
