ATTAINS 95.08 M.P.H. LONDON, Monday. Prior to the fire on Miss Britain 111., which damaged the engine, Scott Paine attained a mean speed of 9.5.08 miles per hour, beating Miss Betty Carstairs’ sea mile record of 8G.21, and Sir Henry Segrave’s unofficial record for singleengined boats of 92.78 at Venice.
