BRITAIN’S POSITION. (Received Friday, 16.2.3 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. The “Daily Mail,” in a leader, referring to the shipping stagnation, declares that if the 'Conference is unable to restore economic marine condition's by mutual agreement, Britain must Wet independently. The Empire should consult as in 1923 to secure fair treatment for the British flag, limiting dnter-Im-. perial trade to British vessels and' unsubsidised foreigners.
