At • a meeting of the stewards of the Wairarapa Trotting Club at Greytown it was decided- to apply for 26th and 27th December as racing dates. A committee was appointed to confer with the Carterton Racing Club to arrange a five years’ lease of the Clareville Course for a two days’ meeting. A smoke concert is to be arranged at the next stewards meeting to which the stewards and officials of the Wellington Club are to be invited to attend, with a view to expressing the appreciation of the club for the help given at the recent meeting held in Wellington.
