EPIPHANY LADIES’ GUILD. .Yesterday ,afternoon the 'Church of Epiphany Ladies’. Guild. held a most successful social; andygift; 'afternoon. There .was an attendance of ..about 60, and; many useful, gifts and .cash dona-: tions. werereceived.Mrs A. W. Cave presided, and; among .those present w-ere-Mrs E; J. Rieh and a ; party of members of the St. Matthew’s Ladies’ Guild. : Thanks were accorded to the Rev. E.. J. Rich, who. gave a most inspiring address on ( present-day problems. 1 A very pleasing musical and elocutionary programme, arranged by Mesdames JBoddington and Whitton, was presented. Mts W. G. Perry rendered a piano solo, and Miss Edith Ralph a number of songs. Miss Peggy Maekay gave a musical monologue* while recitations were rendered 'by Mrs W. Hulme, Patty Turner and Vivienne Rich. At the conclusion, a dainty tea was served by the folfcwing committee: — Me-sdames A. T. Jackson, W. Henson, J. Miller, W. Dalrymple, J. Wyber, E. Braggins, and -the Misses Asliwell, Pearce, M. and L. Boddington.
