AT NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW. PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday. The National Dairy Show cheese awards - were made available to-day. Uniformity in make and flavour Avas an outstanding feature of the cheese exhibits, Avitli mechanical openness eouspicuous by its absence, no strong flavours and at thel time of judging no CA’ideneo of discoloration. The quality generally AA’as good. Results are: — Championship of New Zealand: Westmere and Pahiatua, equal, 1; Hukanui, 3. Championship of Manawatu and the West Coast: Westmere. South Island gold medal; OollingAvood. Rennet Co. ’s Silver Challenge Cup: Pahiatua 1, Dalefield 2, North Tirauniea 3, Kaponga 4. Murgatroyd Cup:, Pahiatua 1. Ncav Zealand Shipping Co.’s Cup: Pembroke 1, Hukanui 2, Alton 3, Westmere 4. 'Half-case of White Cheddar: Westmere., 1, Pahiatua 2, North Tiraumea 3, Kaiparoro 4.
