NEW ZEALAND TOURNEY. WELLINGTON, Thursday. Post-section play in the Dominion Bowling Association’s rinks championship was continued to-day in perfect weather. The Wellington greens are standing up well to the tremendous tax of the- tourney. They are naturally not in the condition of last week, but are fairly fast. The results in the fourth, fifth and sixtli rounds were as follow': FOURTH ROUND. Nayler IS, Jenkin 9; Gilbert 25, Efford 14; Gordon 27, Edwards 12; Ives 24, Fielding 14; Smith 26, Dee 11; Walker 19, Ren die 16; Benefield 20, Reid 17. Naylor and Gilbert still retained twolives. FIFTH ROUND. Naylor, a bye; Walker 15, Benefield 7; Ives 2'S, Smith IS; Jenkins 23, Efford 11; Gilbert 17, 'Gordon 16. SIXTH ROUND. Naylor (Lyall Bay) 26, Ives (Christchurch) 14; Jenkin (Carlton, Auckland) 24, Walker (Auckland) IS. Walker won in the fourth round with his last bowl against Rendle, defeated Benefield in a driving contest in the fifth, and went down to Jenkin in the sixth. Jenkin’s team was the steadier. —(P.A.) RINKS TOURNEY. Entries for the fink tourney, on behalf of the Greytown Club, are so numerous that two greens will be required and judging from the enthusiasm displayed a very pleasant day will be spent on the Masterton Bowling Club’s greens on Monday. As previously stated the tourney is being held in the interests of the -Greytown Club and it is pleasing to see ithe support accorded it by the -other Wairarapa clubs. There will be two sections, of 14 and 12 rinks, and in order to allow as many as possible to meet, five games will bo played with a time limit of 14 hours and with dead-head -restrictions imposed. Play will commence at 8.45 a.m., and teams are asked to be on the greens in good time to facilitate progress. In so doing they will help the management. The following is the draw:—SECTION A.
