MOTORING RECORD
SET UP BY BRITISH CAR. RUGBY, Wednesday. The new motoring record for 24 hours, in 750 c.e. class, was set up by a British car on the Monthery track, Paris, to-day. Messrs Eyston, Denley and Wisdom, taking three-hour turns at the wheel of a little seven horse-power car of a standard pattern, covered between yesterday afternoon and this afternoon, 2727 kilometres, approximately 1704 miles. The previous record stood at 2534 kilometres, approximately 1554 miles.
