UPWARD TENDENCY. POSITION IN NEW SOUTH WALES. (Received Thursday, 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Figures of new buildings erected in the city and suburbs during the current year show that the slump which was in evidence during 1931 continued during the first six months of the current year, but there has been an upward tendency in recent months. The returns show that 1443 new buildings were erected, at a cost of £1,866,472, this year, as compared with 1(521 new buildings, costing £l,792,145, in 1931.
