MURDER OF CHILDREN
WOMAN SENT TO GAOL. “THE OGRESS OF ST. SAYEUR.” (Received Thursday, 9.45 a.m.) PARIS, Wednesday. Camille Tounie, an unmarried woman, known as the Ogress of Saint Saveur, has been sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for having murdered at birth, since 1923, her seven children. The bodies were concealed on a farm owned by the reputed father (her brother-in-law), who was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment.
