Reporting to a meeting of stewards of the Wairarapa Trotting Club, the secretary, Mr 11. Mortcnson, stated that a great deal of interest was being taken in the Boxing Day meeting in Wellington and the district generally. The trotting would be well up to standard, he stated, and a large attendance could be confidently expected. Several stewards also reported keen interest, and all agreed that the indications pointed to a very successful day’s sport.
