Wyatt Avon the toss, and opened rvith Sutcliffe. The Yorkshireman batted brightly, scoring 101 in 66 minutes. He hit tAvo sixers and six fours. iPataudi played attractive cricket, scoring a century in 139 minutes. ’ He hit eight fours. The total reached 300 in 223 minutes.
