STRIKES POWER LINES
•AEROPLANE DAMAGED. ASHBURTON, This Day. Through 'striking power lines two miles from Lauriston yesterday afternoon a Moth ’plane belonging to the Canterbury Aero Club had its undercarriage wrecked. The rest of the ’plane was not damaged. The passenger, Miss M. Gibson, was not injured, but Flying-Officer J. R. Richardson suffered a skinned nose. — (P.A.)
