Best N.I. wether sheep, 4 l-8d to 3|d per lb. North Island ewes, 27-8 dto 24d per lb. - - • ■ ; N.Z. prime ox beef, none offering. Compared with last week’s quotation:—N.l. 2nd quality lambs id per lb. lower. Best N.I. wethers under 48 lbs J-Sd per lb higher. N.I. ewes under. 641bs l-8d per lb. lower; 64/721bs l-8d per lb higher. Others unchanged. The market is dull with a downward tendency, especially in the demand for 2nd quality lambs.
