FEDERAL FINANCE
REVENUE RETURNS. SYDNEY, Friday. The total revenue received by the Commonwealth for the eleven months of the financial year is £01,846,000, of which £7,620,000 represents receipts from the sales tax. It is expected that the deficit at the end of the year will be very slight. There is even a strong possibility of a small surplus, especially if New South Wales interest payments are met in the* near future.
