STUDENTS’ PUBLICATION
EDITOR REPRIMANDED. DUNEDIN, Friday. A special meeting of the Otago University Council was held to-day to give further consideration to the action previously taken regarding the editor of the students’ publication, "The Critic,” who had been sent down for a year. The following resolution was carried: "That the council now resolves to reprimand the editor severely for insertion in ‘The 'Critic’ articles complained of, and to exclude him from the University of Otago and its precincts until 31st October, and to require him to take his future clinical training, as from 30th June, at some other centre than Dunedin.” The effect of this resolution is that the editor of "The Critic,” who is a sixth year medical student, will be able to complete his course this year.— (P.A.)
