CONTROL OF IMPORTATIONS. URGED BY MILLERS. OHBISTGHUROH, Friday. “It certainly looks now as if there may not be sufficient wheat t-o carry through to the new season’s crop. If that is so it would be better to have a controlled method of importing wiieat, say, through a wheat marketing agency board, ’ ’ said a flour mill representative this morning. “If the imports are not controlled, quantities in excess of requirements would probably come into the country, and this would result in an increase in carryover and low prices to the New Zealand wdieat grow T er next season.’’ — (P.A.)
