A report from Camp Kearney (California) states that two members of the ground croAA", in attempting to moor the world’s largest dirigible, Akron, Avere SAvept into the air to-day by the mooring ropes, lost their grip, fell, and Avere killed. The Akron left Lakchurst (Ncav Jersey), at G a.m. on Sunday, and Avas delayed by a stormy passage. ATLANTIC CROSSING. MOLLISQN’S PLANS. LONDON, Wednesday. The “Daily Express” states that Mr A. J. Mollison, at the end of June, will undertake the most hazardous air journey ever planned, namely, a double crossing of the Atlantic. First he will fly from Dublin to New York, then from NeAV York to Croydon, both flights being non-stop, doing 6300 miles in days. Ho intends to fly solo, though he is expected to marry Miss Amy Johnson before making the journey. He will use an English aeroplane and engine. Another report states that Mr Mollison and Miss Johnson Avill be married in London Avithin ten days.
