WOOL MARKET
LONDON SALES. PRICES FIRM. LONDON, Friday. Offerings to-day at the wool sale were 9415 bales, including 3576 New Zealand. Approximately 379 S were sold. There was brisk Home trade and Continental competition, and the market had a firm tone.
New Zealand greasies sold: “Glenhill,” half-bred, highest lOd, average 9|d; “Tomoana,” slipe, highest lOd, average Sjd; New Zealand scoured, “Gore,” halfbred pieces, highest 131 d, average 13id.
Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the' following wool market cablegram from London, dated 11th instant:—
Sales continue with a good tone. Competition good-and general. All descriptions show hardening tendency.
