BAND SUNDAY
GATHERING AT UPPER lIUTT.
OF WAIRARAPA BANDS,
Alartinborough, Carterton and Alasterton Alunicipal bands journeyed to Upper I-lutt yesterday to assist the Hutt hand to hold its Band Sunday. The weather was fine and the attendance of the public satisfactory. Each band gave of its best in a very enjoyable programme. Masterton Alunicipal included in its programme the contest selection “Undine” for which it secured highest points at the recent contest and their rendering was much appreciated. The hands all travelled by rail, where the arrangements made for thencomfort were quite satisfactory.
