HAST WELL SCHOOL
COMMITTEE MEETING. MEMBERS RESIGN. The ordinary meeting of the Ilastwell School Committee was held in the school on Saturday night, and the chairman (Mr. Geo. McClymont) presided over a full attendance. Before any routine business was transacted, the chairman tendered his resignation, on the grounds that the business of the committee was being divulged to outsiders. This was not accepted and the chairman demanded the resignations of the whole of the committee. These were tendered, and have been forwarded to the Education Board, which body will probably, appoint a commissioner for the remainder of the year.
