BOARDER GAOLED
STOLE PROM HOTEL. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. A seaman, Frederick Charles Dandy, aged 29, pleaded guilty at Lyttelton today to charges of stealing £27 from the Empire Hotel, and attempted fraud by qieans of a valueless cheque. The police said that accuse, Avhile a boarder, raider the till of the bar and also the safe. Accused Avas sentenced to nine months’ hard labour.
