FAVOURABLE BALANCE. WASHINGTON, Saturday. The Department of Commerce has reported that the country has closed 1931 Avith a favourable trade balance of approximately 334,076,000 dollars. The total exports for the year Avere valuod at 2,434,183,000 dollars, and the total imports ta 2,090,107,000. Potli are about a billion dollars below the previous year’s figures.
