WRECK OF MALABAR.
SOLD BY AUCTION. SYDNEY, Tuesday. The twisted, splintered mass of wreckage that was onc-e the splendid motor ship Malabar to-day'was sold at auction by the underwriters for £l4O. The cargo was bought for £4O. ihe vessel cost originally nearly £250,000. The Marine Court of Enquiry has opened to investigate the loss of the Malabar. The procedeings arc private. Captain G. AY. Leslie's evidence, has been taken, and the court has adjourned.
