Spiers (Napier) beat Mrs Collins (Wairarapa) one up. Miss Kay (Otago) beat Miss Petrie (Miramar), 3 and 1. Miss Gaisford (Marton) beat Mrs Hosking (Napier), 1 up. Miss Loughnan (Christchurch) beat Miss H. Baa-nett (Miramar), 3 and 2.
