EARTHQUAKE.
EXTENSIVE SHOCK. DAMAGE IN JAPAN. KOBE, Friday. A very extensive earthquake shock was experienced this morning in the Fukui Province. It was distinctly felt at a range of 400 miles. Few casualties are reported. In the Ishikawa Province pottery districts, considerable damage was donp to fragile wares. Such a ’quake has not been experienced in this district for 73 years.
